Reminder for Employers: OSHA 300A Form Deadline and Requirements
The OSHA 300A is a summary form used by employers to record and report work-related injuries and illnesses and is part of OSHA’s recordkeeping requirements.
Submission information
Employers can submit their 2025 workplace injury and illness data during the first two months of the year, using OSHA’s Form 300A Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses. The deadline is March 2, 2026. Please note that the form must be completed even if no work-related injuries or illnesses occurred during the year. For instructions to electronically submit injury and illness data, see OSHA’s Injury Tracking Application User Guide.
Posting requirements
February 1, 2026, marks the beginning of this year’s three-month period during which employers must post Form 300A. It must be placed in a visible location so that employees can be made aware of the injuries and illnesses that have occurred in their workplace. If an employer has more than one physical location, the form must be posted at each location.
Your business may be exempt
There are partially exempt industries that may not be required to keep OSHA injury and illness records. Find out if your business is exempt.
