Being part of the Heritage network offers some great benefits to you and your patients. Here are a few ways we work to support you.

  • Our teamwork saves you time. Summit has a team of nurse case managers, medical directors, claims adjustors, network development staff and medical bill payors—all on-staff. This helps successfully resolve claims, avoids confusion and misinformation and alleviates delays in care.

Your network representative is here for you

There’s someone at Summit whose primary job is to help you.In fact, we have an entire team of network representatives dedicated solely to serving the providers in our network.

Each network rep is assigned a geographic area, and is responsible to oversee all of the credentialing, recredentialing and contract negotiations for the providers in their area. In addition, your network rep is available to act as a liaison between your office and ours, whether the question is related to billing, claim management, or even treatment approval. Essentially, your network rep is your advocate inside the insurance company.
