Kenneth Seacord:
"I was injured at work and am now permanently disabled. I thank God
that my former employer had good insurance through Summit. They
made a rough time for me a lot easier.

"I know a guy who has the same kind of injury, and he's having a hard time.
His workers' comp company is denying him his money, and he's having all
sorts of problems. He asked me about my situation, and all I could say is
that I got what I needed when I needed it. I had my first check [for wages]
within seven days of my injury and my checks were never late. I got all the
surgeries, the CAT scans, the MRIs . . . everything. I only had one problem
when I went for at test, and the doctor's office gave me a hard time. I called
Summit from the phone in the reception area. I don't know what the Claims
Center said to those people, but they apologized to me and took me in.

"If I didn't understand something, I called up and asked, and I got answers.
It was like I was talking to a friend. I had a really good feelingfrom day one,
and my adjustor made me feel comfortable she really cared aboutme."
