The Florida Retail Federation Self Insurers Fund has provided excellent workers’ compensation coverage to Florida businesses for nearly 30 years. The Fund is not an insurance company. The Fund is—
- Sponsored by the Florida Retail Federation—a premier lobbying group that works for Florida businesses and offers many cost-saving services and benefits.
- A member-funded alternative to traditional workers’ compensation insurance. Over the years, the Fund has given back more than $113 million in premium credits and returns to its safety-conscious members, and it has provided $163 million in advance discounts.
- Protected by statutory surplus that exceeded $109 million at the end of 2007, as well as an excellent reinsurance program with an A-rated carrier.
